I will say. The ukmet look was prob the classic position for all of us to cash in! Where can we sign lol agreed I feel like we will see some frozen precip

UK is great because it hands off to the coastal low further south near North Carolina. That really allows the coastal to lock in the cold air.  With the Euro the secondary gets going later off the Delmarva /SNJ coast, and is weaker. Thus it's a bit more borderline. That said it still gives a nice thump. Wasn't far off from something much better taking the run verbatim.

EPS continues with strong lows cutting into Chicago. The snow mean is 3-4 around the metro but a inch of that falls Sunday night

Living up here in NW Vermont. Originally from the Philly area, so it’s harsh for me to witness what you guys are going through. Maybe the SOI will drop and the models will adjust and you have a better outcome by next week.

The best thing to do in reference to any winter storm potential for next week and beyond is to keep any excitement tempered until we are roughly 4 days away from any possible winter storm. Anything beyond that is just digital snow IMO.

This configuration is excellent. There's an EP Ridge and a Greenland Block.

Yes. This isn’t a terrible looking pac though. The colors make it look worse than it is.

Yeah. The ridge position south of Alaska is meh. Needs to be a bit more east.
