Will NYC/LI get into those wonderful echos to the SW?

Can we see 1 or 2 inch an hr for a couple of hours still?

Is that Fronto going north or northeast? Also, do you want to be under that or above it?

Unfortunately, there's a warm tongue at 750-800mb that I see on the NAM skew-t's that isn't detected on the favorable 850mb maps. Even though 850s never rise > 0c here, 800mb will. Thus, sleet, may reach even farther north than expected in CNJ. Our totals will likely be cut-down in CNJ due to this.

Edit: this explains why CC is so far north already.

How far do you think that line makes it north? Raritan river?

CC indicates the mix line is well south of me, but I have sleet mixing in here. Snow/sleet mix.

More promotions to Senior Enthusiast

@Newman (this was actually done some time before, but I just fixed it so done right!)

@Event Horizon, congrats!

@ChineseFood4Snow, congrats!

More to come!

Thanks, I am honored to carry the title!  Hopefully I'll be snow blowing 10" of fresh powder tomorrow in my sweet 33 and Rain hat!

Closing in on 2 inches here in southern dutchess. Strictly a grass event so far. All paved surfaces wet. I’m very shocked with my  latitude and how well it’s snowing the pavement is just not having it
