Sunday (3/3 into Monday (3/4) -- Back to Back Snow?

Recommended Posts

NAM was a major shift, it was not just "amped and inland," it had an earlier start time with significant snow to begin vs. 18z. In fact I think it is looking like this may actually be two discreet events and not just one if 00z is any indication. For this we need the first SW that is now snow to eject a bit faster / amp a bit more, and for the 2nd SW (aka "amped and inland") to take a bit longer to arrive.

While still fairly far out there for the NAM, you notice temps have been dropping with just about each run.  Will see if this continues as it comes more into range.

I think a lot of that is non-snow and more liquid as depicted here especially with temps (although they are improving)!

If the Saturday storm is  intensifying, it should cause Monday’s storm to go further south and also slow down because of traffic in the Atlantic now
