Eastern US Summer 2019 Observations and Discussions

Recommended Posts

July 15 1995 remains the hottest day I ever experienced in my lifetime where I used to live in Queens NY.

Temp 105 with a dew point of 82

Nothing since then has even come close. I got heat exhaustion and felt awful.

JULY 1993 and AUG 2006, I had 3 consecutive days of 100 and higher where I used to live.

99/76 here. The steady drop of dews have helped with the temp rise

I don't know if we're going to make it.. we made it to 99.4 and have dropped a bit since then.

It would suck to stop there.

Looks like 96 is my high for the day. Couldn’t get past it for the last couple of hours.

Don't discount tomorrow for getting to 100

We have a shot, we'll have a higher launching point.

The problem is we'll have to deal with more clouds.

That's why I always liked today better.

Down to 97 from a high of 98. HI 116. Tomorrow looks like the hottest day down here as dews should be a little lower and the clouds from the northwest should dissipate under the high pressure before they get here.
