My point is we are grasping at straws. No model is showing any solid storm in this area. It’s frustrating when people kept hyping this storm and now we have nothing again!

Compare this to six hours ago.  This was six hours ago. You had a well-developed 997 low off the east coast.

There is essentially no circulation anywhere.  They are not remotely the same.

Neither brings us snow, but just because they both don't bring snow does not mean that it is being "consistent".

Who is hyping the storm? Some are just suggesting they think a storm can pop up here. While also explaining why and what needs to happen. If you want the hype it was always after the 15th or so.

You can still get rain in favorable patterns especially if you have lows in Canada with arctic fronts
