Good morning gang. With the overload of model data available and being analyzed, I thought this morning would be a good time to take a step back and re-analyze this setup from a birds eye view. Often

Give it up for @brooklynwx99 y'all. fairly sure he hasn’t slept since Wednesday!

Any weather-related reason to post right now?     Classic 95 1-2 footer coming IMO. ❄️

What happens between hour 57 and 60 that blows the 32 degree line inland even with precip falling and the sun being down?

I don't have access to thermal or wind profiles so I'm wondering what's causing that.

Could very well be just diurnal heating on the model.  I don't pay all that much attention to surface temps during storms.

Its precip that has already fallen and current temps there

I see the coastal front gets fairly north and west into Massachusetts on EPS. Changing over for all of greater Boston  - anyone have an opinion here?  We think that’s possible and/or likely ?  I’d love it personally because it caps my high end (cuz I like snow and weather but would rather not be on a ladder chipping out ice dams).

Besides if it's 32 or 33 degrees with heavy snow, it doesn't really make much of a difference.

The ground is frozen solid now.  We saw on Feb 10, 2010, when it snowed all day at 33-34, it accumulated just fine.

We'll have a nice base put down overnight to help that cause, too.
