Blinding snow!  Fun driving the kiddos to school!

Very heavy roughly 4” throughout the day today. Compacted down to 2.5 now.   Wettest snow of the season in Vernon.   Shoveled  the  whole damn driveway by myself.

We have this much snow.

Precipitation will overspread the area during the next hour. For
locations west of New York City, this will initially fall as snow
for 1 to 2 hours. The best chance for any light snowfall accumulation
will be to the west of I-95. For NYC, a brief snow and rain mix
is possible, but this expected to be short-lived. Temperatures in
the middle and upper 30s will keep the snow generally confined to
non-paved surfaces.

Bust incoming

Watch for rapid reductions in visibility as snow moves into the
region this morning. Snowfall rates of 1-2 inches per hour may
result in reduced visibility down to a quarter of a mile or less
at times. This will make travel difficult at times as roads become
quickly snow-covered.

Maybe but they should at least acknowledge that heavy snow is falling and there is reduced visibility etc

I was half joking but places in SEPA have 2-3 inches and still snowing  were supposed to see mostly rain.
