Morning thoughts...

Today will be partly sunny and hot. Temperatures will likely reach the upper 80s to lower 90s in most of the region. A few areas could experience an afternoon or evening thundershower. Likely high temperatures around the region include:

New York City (Central Park): 91°

Newark: 95°

Philadelphia: 93°

Tomorrow will be noticeably cooler.

Yesterday too much high cloudiness, today too much mid level and cumulus. The park probably will not get even one 90 out of this stretch but rather a bunch of 88 and 89s.

Too much vegetation around the sensor is the only reason

It may be a factor but certainly not the only reason.

The rest of the area having their 2nd day in the 90s. Park on its own. There’s no other explanation or reason.
