2017 New York Mets

Feeling good about this season. Solid lineup, all the big guns are back.

Thinking 90 wins should be possible.

I would like to see them win a World Series. Their window is now or never

If the pitching can stay healthy it's bad news for the rest of the league

Atlanta and Philly will get this team to near 100 wins

All in all I think they get 90-95 total wins and win the NL East

Mets are good, but they're not coming close to 100 wins with that offense.

Bruce has hit .231/.295/.440 (98 OPS+, which is well below average for a corner OF) over the last three years. He isn't exactly a Gold Glove outfielder either. A corner OF that can't get on base and plays crappy defense isn't an asset. Mets are going to regret giving up Herrera for him.

And I never said it was a bad offense, I don't know why you're trying to insist that I said that but okay. I certainly wouldn't call it good either. They project to finish about middle of the pack in the NL in runs scored, and guys like Reyes/Wright/Grandy/Bruce and their C position are iffy. Actually, I'd consider Wright a success if he even plays more than 60 games at this point. I hope I'm wrong, but I think he's done. I still think d'Arnaud can be a good hitting catcher if healthy (I know, ifs and buts...) and I think Conforto will be fine, though he might have issues returning to an every day role.

Fangraphs projects them to finish with around 85 wins and a Wild Card. I could see 89-91 wins and maybe a division title, but they're going to need a lot of players to outperform their projections to come close to 100 wins IMO.

I'd do it to watch the Mets, but it's such a piss poor app.

I plan on going to a few games at Citi. I was at the Braves game on June 18 and the Lester-Syndergaard game (which I wore my Lester shirt to :() last year. I'm hoping to catch any of the Cubs/Dodgers games.

Michael Pineda was perfect through 6 plus innings in the Yankee's home opener before Evan Longoria broke it up with a double. 11 strikeouts with a shut out through 7.
