December 15-17 or December 21-23...... BLIZZARD.

2-3 feet of snow; NYC will get 30 inches.      Some places will get 40 inches.

Excellent discussion in here. Several opportunities for  every type of winter event. Not quite ready to write off the 7th for some anafrontal snows with CNE NNE having the best chance. In this pattern coming up things come at us fast. Stay on your toes

Hey Ginx! How are ya?

Funny man, my Dad always called me Stevearino from that song. Good to be here to talk weather with you all. Hopefully NYC cats have a white Dec. With weeklies as bullish as they are could be an epic 6 week period. Ran the snowblower this AM, neighbor knows gave me the oh crap look. Lol

The first thing that came to my mind when I saw your name was the Steve Allen show...I went on u tube and found this record...Louie Nye was a funny guy and I can't stop laughing when I play that record...Steve Allen had the funniest show on TV then and now...1957-58 was a good year so the karma is there...

What's a "cutter"? (guessing some kind of Appalachian/Atlantic storm type/track)

Storms that cut to the west of the East Coast. Can be Apps cutters and Great Lakes Cutters. If they cut any further west than that, they're just cold fronts to us.
