2018 New York Yankees

Recommended Posts

Didi 25 87 287 136 games 28

Machado 35 95 265  156 games 26

So in a 156 games Didi is a 30 90 guy ,he  costs you 5 million the other wants 30 to  35 million

The value in Didi isn't even close.

5 runs allowed to the LOLrioles in the 7th. This team isn't winning sh*t. Red Sox clearly better than us...pitching >> offense.

We are 7 games into the season.  Working out the kinks.  We will be there in September. I'm not saying a championship but definitely in the hunt for a post season birth.

It wasn't even Bonehead tonight. The good arms were there and just melted down.

I knew that this lineup could easily be shut down by any decent pitcher. Look at Stanton batting .180, Sanchez .070 as examples. And our pitching is suspect; Cashman failed to improve us there. Like I said, look at the Sox so far getting it done even with an anemic offense...their pitching is dynamite and they got clutch hitting. Haven't seen that yet from the Yankees.

As it stands, this is a Wild Card team.

Agree. Boone is just a puppet to Cashman anyway. This team will miss Joe G

Ugly lost. As bad of a lost as you can have this early in the season.

Its 8 games in , talk to me after 40,  when the average flyball hit by one of our big three which now goes to the warning track and will be 10 ft over the wall. Even though tonight was another disastrous Ending by the bullpen they held up for 10 innings. We've taken some major hits via injuries and haven't come close to having the entire line up. We are a major hurricane that's now in  tropical depression stage. Give it time and the storm will inevitably grow over 85 Plus degree water

all this assuming thru 8 games? Lol lol lol

the 98’ yankees we’re also 4-4 through 8 games and won 114 that season, with loses to the angles/A’s/Mariners thru 8 games

all three of which teams missed the playoffs, and the angles were the only team with a winning record

i wouldn’t give credence if these teams were 20 games in yet, long season

A far stronger outfield. far stronger bullpen ( in an era where that is the center of power defensively), an infield which is strong but not as strong as 98 but with , aruably, stronger starting pitching. Barring injuries, a bug boo so far, this team is destined for 100 wins not withstanding the shaky start.
